In this post, we will learn Build management in TestLink. A Build in TestLink is the execution of the Test plan. It is identified by its title. Each build is related to the active Test Plan. The description should include a list of delivered packages, fixes or features, approvals, status, etc.
Active / Inactive – defines whether the build can be used. Inactive builds are not listed on the execution and reports pages.
Open / Closed – Only for open builds, test results can be modified.
Steps to create a Build
You can click on the Builds/Releases link under the Test Plan right side box to navigate to build the management page as shown in the picture.
To create a new build fill the title, description, etc, and click on Create button.
