In this tutorial, we will Download Oracle SQL Developer on Windows. Oracle SQL Developer is a free, integrated development environment that simplifies the development and management of Oracle Databases. The database users will be able to browse database objects, run SQL statements, and database scripts, edit, and debug the statements.

The users will also be able to create and run reports. With it, they will enjoy productivity and simplification of the development of their database.

Navigate to the following URL:

https://www.oracle.com/database/sqldeveloper/

Click on the Download SQL Developer button.

Choose the Windows operating system.

The tool comes as a standalone and also with bundled JDK. Choose the option that most fits your case. If you already have JDK installed choose the standalone archive zip file.

In order to download the Oracle SQL developer, the users must accept the license agreement. Accept the Oracle License Agreement and click on Download sqldeveloper-<version>.zip file

 

Log in to your Oracle account with your credentials. The tool will be downloaded onto the computer.

Extract the contents of the archive file.
