Flowgorithm Operators

Overview

In this tutorial, we will learn about Flowgorithm Operators. Operators are denoted as symbols that operate on the operands and form expressions. Expressions use operators and complex expressions can contain multiple operands and operators.

Flowgorithm supports both C-Family and BASIC-family programming language operators.
It also supports symbols used in Mathematics.

Flowgorithm Operators

Operators perform some actions on the operands to evaluate the value of the expression. They can be broadly classified as follows:

Other important operators are the string concatenation operator and the exponent operator.

Operator Operator Symbol Description
String Concatenation & Combines two strings into one combined string.

For Example:

“Hello ” & “World!”

to

“Hello World!”

Exponent ^, ↑ x ^ y computes the x to the power of y.

For example:

x*x*x*…. { y times }

Example

Operator Precedence

Operators have precedence levels. The high-level operators would be evaluated first then the lower-level operators are evaluated.
