Install JBoss Tools in Eclipse IDE

Overview

In this tutorial, we will learn the steps involved to Install JBoss Tools in Eclipse IDE. We can install the tools using Eclipse Marketplace or from the repository URL. The tools suite provide support to JBoss and Related technologies like JBoss/Wildfly and Red Hat EAP, Hibernate, Docker Containers, OpenShift, etc

Steps to Install

Launch Eclipse >> Help >> Eclipse Marketplace…

Search for JBoss Tools in the marketplace.

 

 

Select JBoss Tools <version>  from Red Hat, Inc and click on the Install button.

Choose the Features to install and click on  Confirm button to install the tools.

 

 

Accept the license agreement of the software and Click on the Finish button.

The software would download and install and might take sometime depending on the network and the set of features chosen to install.

Once prompted, to complete the install restart the Eclipse IDE. That’s it.

Server tools allows use to create Server runtime from within Eclipse. Easy access to common server tasks like starting, stopping the server, deploying applications on to the server, etc.
