Overview

In this tutorial, we will learn the steps to install the selenium-webdriver software package on Node.js

Node.js should be installed on the machine. Steps to download and install Node.js runtime on Windows:

Launch a command prompt and issue the following install command:

\> npm install selenium-webdriver

This command will install the software package. This will list the output of the number of added packages during the installation process.

To run a web test script, we can use the following command:

\> node <script.js>

script.js is the JavaScript web test script that contains the test code.
