Overview
This tutorial, outlines the steps to download Jira Core Server on Windows operating system.
Environment
- Windows 10 Operating System
- Web browser
Download Jira Core Server
Launch Web browser. For Example Firefox browser.
Navigate to official Jira core download URL.
https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/core/download
Pick one of the download option. We have two options to download Jira Core.
- LTS ( Long Term Support)
- Latest release
LTS is recommended for production environments.
We can either download the Windows 64- bit Jira core installer or the ZIP archive software bundle.
Click on the drop-down list above the download button to choose the download option.
Select the Option and click on the Download button.
License Agreement
To continue to download Jira product you must read and agree to the Atlassian Software License Agreement and Privacy Policy.
Check the checkbox and Accept the Jira License Agreement and Privacy Policy. Click on the Submit button.
Save the file
Save the file on to the computer. Only is needed either the Installer or the ZIP archive file.

For example, download screen for Jira core ZIP archive bundle file. Choose Save File option and click on the OK button. ( Firefox browser )
