Overview
In this tutorial, we’ll be going through the steps of installing the Chromium web browser on Ubuntu Server. Chromium web browser, open-source version of Chrome. Chromium is an open-source browser project that aims to build a safer and faster browser for all Internet users to experience the web.
Environment: Ubuntu Linux Server LTS.
Installing Chromium
Click on Show applications tab on the left bottom corner.
Launch Ubuntu Software Marketplace.
Search for the application: Chromium
Click on the Chromium search result to install it.
Click on the Install button to install the browser.
It would take a while to install the browser. Please be patient.
Once installed, We can launch the browser from the Show applications tab.
