Let’s see the steps involved to update Appium Desktop to the latest version on Windows 10 platform.
Launch
Launch the Appium Desktop application.
Click on File >> Check for Updates.
Update
Click on the Install Now link to update to the latest version.
Firewall alert
Appium.exe does not have a valid signature stomped as of now. So some Antivirus products NortonLifeLock might try to block the application. We may need to add a firewall rule to allow the Application traffic.
Choose Allow Always option and click on the OK button.
This may vary if you have other Anti virus product installed on the computer.
