In addition to your username and password, you\u2019ll need to enter a code that GitHub sends to you via text or an app on your phone or tablet.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><strong>Two ways to setup<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Authenticator app option: Use an application on your phone to get two-factor authentication codes when prompted.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">SMS option: GitHub will send you an SMS with a two-factor authentication code when prompted.
