Therefore, whatever the country or language, the short form of the organization&#8217;s name is always ISO.<\/p>\n<p>ISO is a non-governmental organization with the mission of promoting the development of standardization and related activities in the world to facilitate the international exchange of goods and services and to develop cooperation in the spheres of intellectual, scientific, technological, and economic activity. It was established in 1947.<\/p>\n<h2>CMM<\/h2>\n<p>CMM: The Capability Maturity Model for Software(CMM Or SW-CMM) is an industry-standard model for defining and measuring the maturity of a software company\u2019s development process and providing directions on improving their software Quality. ISO does not say you have to meet or follow certain standards.<\/td>\n<td>CMM standards are more stringent than ISO standards.
