Identify the Process that is not responding.<\/p>\n<p>Open the Terminal.<\/p>\n<p>Use the <strong>top<\/strong> or <strong>htop<\/strong> command to view running processes. For example:<\/p>\n<p><strong>$ top<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, you can use ps with grep to find the specific process:<\/p>\n<p><strong>$ ps aux | grep &lt;program_name&gt;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>or<\/p>\n<p><strong>$ ps -aef | grep &lt;program_name&gt;<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Kill the Process<\/h2>\n<p>Use the kill command followed by the Process ID (PID) to terminate the process. For example:<\/p>\n<p><strong>$ kill &lt;PID&gt;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If the process does not terminate, use the -9 option to kill it forcefully.
