Overview

Test Result Matrix test report displays test results of Test Cases for all Builds. This test report shows the last test case execution result for each build, analyzing test cases with and without tester assignment.

Steps to view the Result Matrix

Select the Test Project from the drop-down list.

Select the Current Test Plan from the drop-down list.

Click on the Test Reports and Metrics link in the dashboard.

In the left Navigator window:

Select the Report Format as HTML in the drop-down.

Select the Test Plan.

Click on the link Test Result Matrix.

This will launch the test results matrix.

 

The test results are grouped by platform. We can view the Execution History and Test Spec Document by clicking on the respective icons on the test result row.

The Latest execution column shows the latest test execution reports.

Export the Test Data

Click on the Excel icon at the top to export the test data to a spreadsheet file. We need to have MS Excel software or equivalent open-source software(Open Office) to view the test data.
