Microsoft has officially deprecated Steps Recorder. This means the tool is no longer
being actively developed, will not receive new features, and is planned for removal in a future
version of Windows. Beginning with the February 2024 Windows 11 update, Microsoft added a
notification banner inside the application informing users about its deprecation and recommending
newer alternatives.

Microsoft encourages users to transition to modern tools that provide screen capture,
screen recording, and video editing capabilities.
