How to create a Pareto Diagram?
Introduction
On this page, we will learn how to create a Pareto Diagram using Microsoft Excel application. We use the Pareto diagram to show the relative portion of each category to the total. Another use of the diagram is to show the most significant factors.

Let’s choose some defects that are categorized as per the Priority category and the counts of the defects.

Steps to build
Launch Microsoft Excel.
Enter the data in the columns.
Click on >> Insert >> Insert Statistic Chart
Choose the Pareto Diagram from the drop-down charts.
Add a suitable title for the chart.
Drag and drop the chart to the convenient location in the sheet.
