GATE CS Books for General Aptitude

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level exam in India that tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science. GATE CS (Computer Science) is specifically for students aiming for M.Tech, PSU jobs, or higher studies in Computer Science and Information Technology.

GATE consists of two major parts:

  • Technical Section – based on the core Computer Science syllabus.
  • General Aptitude (GA) – common for all streams and carries 15 marks, testing your logical reasoning, verbal ability, and numerical aptitude.

A strong score in the General Aptitude section is crucial, as it boosts your overall ranking with relatively less effort compared to the technical section.
