Flowgorithm Import Function

Overview

In this tutorial, we will learn how to import a function using Flowgorithm Function Manager. This feature allows us to import a function from other flowchart files into the current flowchart.

Import Function

We can import the function using the Flowgorithm UI( User Interface) or copy the function XML structure into the current flowchart.

Steps to Import the function using the UI:

Launch Flowgorithm tool.

Open the flowchart to which you want to import the already defined function from another flowchart.

Launch the Function Manager. There are two ways to launch the GUI window.

Click on the two ovals button in the Toolbar.

Program >> Function Manager… menu option.

Click on the Import button on the Function Manager window.

Choose the Flowchart in which the function is defined. Click on the Open button.

The functions defined in the flowchart would be displayed.

Select the function/s to import and click on the Done button.

The selected functions would be imported into the current flowchart.

That’s it. We have successfully imported a function from another flowchart. This feature saves time especially if the function is complex.
