MantisBT – Archive Project

Overview

In this tutorial, we will learn the steps to archive a project. A Mantis administrator can archive a project to disable the project and hide the project.

Hidden projects will not be displayed in the Project drop-down list in the top navigator.

Archive Project

Steps to archive an existing project is as follows:

Login as administrator to the MantisBT tool.

Click on the ManageĀ ( three gears icon) left sidebar menu item.

Switch to the Manage Projects tab.

Click the Project name link that needs to be archived.

Uncheck the Enabled checkbox for the project.

Click on the Update Project button.

The project would be disabled and will be removed from the top project selection drop-down list. Archived projects would be hidden and users will not be able to view issues in the project or perform any actions on the project.
