Install TortoiseSVN on Windows
This guide will walk you through installing TortoiseSVN on a Windows system. TortoiseSVN is an open-source Windows client for the Apache Subversion version control system. It manages project files and directories over time and stores files in a central repository.
The repository is like a file server that remembers every change made to the files and directories. This allows you to recover older versions of the files and examine the history of how and when the data changed and who changed it.
TortoiseSVN is an Apache Subversion client implemented as a Windows shell extension. It allows users to access and manage Subversion repositories directly from the Windows Explorer interface, making version control more convenient for developers.
Apache Subversion is a version and revision control system commonly used to track code changes and manage collaborative software development projects. It allows multiple developers to work on the same codebase simultaneously, keeping track of changes and managing different code versions.
