In this tutorial, we will learn the steps to create a Flowgorithm flowchart. The Flowgorithm flowchart software tool should be installed on the machine.
Launch the Tool
Launch the Flowgorithm application.
Create Flowgorithm Untitled Flowchart
Initially, an untitled flowchart with two rounded oval symbols Main and End will be displayed. These symbols represent the start and end of the flowchart. A flow control line connects the Main and the end symbols.
Add Flowchart symbol
A Flowgorithm flowchart is a combination of flowchart symbols and functions.
To add a symbol, move the mouse pointer onto the flow control line. When we hover the mouse on the control line it is highlighted in orange color.
Click on the control line to add a flowchart symbol. Select the flowchart symbol in the pop-up symbol window. For example, to add an Output flowchart symbol.
The Output symbol is the green parallelogram in the default color scheme. This symbol evaluates an expression and prints the result to the standard output console window.
Provide required information to each flowchart symbol. We can start adding flowchart symbols and build the flowchart to solve the problem. Complex flowcharts can be broken down into smaller modules using functions.
