RAPTOR Input Symbol

In RAPTOR, the input symbol is used to get data from the user.

Input Symbol Shape

The input symbol in RAPTOR is a parallelogram with an inward arrow. It is usually labeled with “Input” to indicate user data entry.

How to use the Input Symbol?

Drag and Drop the input symbol from the palette onto your flowchart workspace.
Prompt for Input: When you place the input symbol, you will be prompted to enter the variable name to store the input value.
Description or Prompt Text: You can also enter a description or prompt text that the program will display to the user when it runs, indicating what kind of input is expected.
