Overview

In this post, we will discuss about the Issue workflow in Jira Cloud. We can find the issues in the current active sprint by logging into Jira software. ->Select Agile Board -> Active sprint.

Issue Types in Jira

There are many Issue types in Jira product like:

  • User Story
  • Epic
  • Task
  • Bug

 

 

Issue states

Mainly, there are three states the issue cloud be in the Jira Software project Agile board. These are as follows

  • To-Do
  • In-Progress
  • Done

 

To-Do are issues that are not assigned to any team member and are not yet worked upon items in the current sprint.

In-Progress are issues that some team members is currently working on it in the active sprint.

Done issues are items that are completed. User stories, tasks ,bug that are fixed etc.

 

Agile Board

Current Active sprint on the Agile dashboard displays the issues that are scoped to the current sprint.
