Keywords in TestLink
Introduction
Keywords allow testers to categorize and filter Test Cases. We can group certain test cases with some attributes. For example, you can use
Windows: a set of Test Cases valid for the Windows platform.
Create a Keyword
The steps to create a keyword are as follows:
To create a keyword, click the Keyword Management link under the Test Project on the left.
Click on the Create keyword button.
Enter Keyword and Description and click on the Save button to create the Keyword as shown in the picture.
Assigning Keywords
The Keyword Assignment page is the place where you can batch assign keywords to the existing Test Suite or Test Case.
Select a Test Suite or Test Case on the tree view on the left navigation.
The topmost box that shows up on the right-hand side will allow you to assign available keywords to every single test case.
TestLink supports several ways to import/export keyword data. The supported file types are:
- XML
- CSV
Filter by Keyword
Testers can filter Testcases by Keywords in:
Left Navigation tree of the Test specification.
Search Test Cases in Test Specification, etc
