Overview

This tutorial helps you debug the Jira TestLink Connection. An Unsuccessful Jira and TestLink connection results in errors. A Faulty Jira configuration will display errors on the TestLink UI. Check the Jira XML configuration on the Issue Tracker Management page.

 

API Access Token

Check if the API access token is not revoked in the Jira tool. Revoked API access tokens would result in 401 Unauthorized API errors.

TestLink Event Log

TestLink Event log will display all the errors, warnings, information messages on the TestLink instance. Follow the below steps to view the Errors on the instance.

Navigate to the Events page. Click on the Events bell menu icon.

Filter the errors on the TestLink.

 

Select the Error from the Log level filter box and click on the Apply button.

This will display all the errors on the TestLink.

Log Files

We can scan the TestLink log files for any errors.
