Code:: Blocks is an open-source, cross-platform, and free IDE. You can use CodeBlocks to program C/C++ programs. This tool supports many compilers, such as GCC, both for MinGW and Cygwin, Microsoft Visual C++, etc.

There are different ways to download and install Code:: Blocks on your computer. This post, I would show you how to download Code:: Blocks on Windows 10 operating system.
- Visit http://www.codeblocks.org/downloads URL.
- Click Downloads >> Binaries.
- Select your operating platform.( Windows XP / Vista / 7 / 8.x / 10)
Install Code:: Blocks
You can choose the installer.
The codeblocks-<version>-setup.exe file includes Code:: Blocks with all plugins. The codeblocks-<version>mingw-setup.exe file includes additionally the GCC/G++ compiler and GDB debugger. nosetup.zip files are provided for convenience to users to just unzip the files without installation options and actions.
Download the installer and run the downloaded installer.
Accept all the default options.
After installation, you can choose the compiler and debugger under the Settings menu( Toolchain Executables) as shown in the picture.
