Test Case Operations in TestLink
Overview
We can perform variety of Test Case operations in TestLink tool. These operations are part of effective test case management techniques.
Test Case Operations
- New sibling
- Move / Copy
- Delete
- Bulk Action
- Print View
New sibling – Clicking on this button is used to create a new Test Case under the current Test Suite. This will open a new test case page.
Move /Copy – To move and copy test cases from one suite to another.
Print View– This button will open the test case in new window to print.
Test Case Version Operations
- Edit
- New Version
- Freeze this version
- Add to Test Plans
- Export
Edit – This button allows us to edit and modify the test case.
New Version – Clicking on this button creates a new version of the test case. The old version will be frozen.
Freeze this version – This will freeze the version of the test case for further modifications. We cannot edit the version of the test case.
Add to Test Plans – We can add the test cases to test plans using this option.
Export – We can export the test case in XML format.
